Hallstatt is a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage site. It is one of the most beautiful lakeside villages in the world—and an oasis of tranquility when you retreat into the privacy of your accommodation or head up into the mountains. “Glück am See” comprises two holiday residences located within the historic *Bergmeisterhaus* (Master Miner’s House) at the Seelände.

Spacious garden apartment for 2–4 guests with a large living room, fully equipped handcrafted kitchen, and king-size box spring bed. Antique furnishings and Ligne Roset sofas add character. A private lakeside garden with hammocks and direct lake access provides an idyllic outdoor retreat. Dogs welcome.

Lake Apartment with Garden at the Lakeside

Spacious two-bedroom lake apartment for 2–6 guests, featuring a queen-size bed and a king-size box spring bed with adjustable backrest. The handcrafted kitchen includes a BORA cooktop and full appliances. A shared private garden with direct lake access offers hammocks and a raft for lakeside relaxation. Dogs welcome.

Location

The apartments are located in the district of Hallstatt Lahn, by the lakeside. The Lahn bus stop is a 3‑minute walk away.

The train station and the pier are 13 minutes away (950 m).

The cable car up to the Salzberg takes 5 minutes (300 m).

The nearest supermarket is 3 minutes away, 230 m.

The apartments are located in a historic salt workers’ house.
The building is shared with the POLICE and two families of saltworks employees. The building itself belongs to Salinen Immobilien GmbH.

Services

  • Upon prior reservation, a parking space can be made available: first‑come, first‑serve principle.
  • Upon prior reservation, secure bicycle storage can also be arranged. There is a charging point for e‑bikes.
  • A gas‑heated barbecue can be booked in advance and used in the garden.
  • Boats and other water‑sports equipment can be stored upon prior reservation. However, they must not block other guests’ access to the lake.
  • Grocery shopping service – we will happily shop for you and provide breakfast boxes, which will be placed in your refrigerator. (The corresponding offer will be integrated into the booking engine.)
  • A baby bed, high chair, toys, a baby bath, etc. are available on request.
  • You will find board games and books in the apartments.
  • Bath towels can be rented upon prior reservation and for a fee.
  • Picnic baskets filled with a delicious breakfast by the lake can be pre‑booked and picked up at Hallstatt Hideaway. For an additional fee, the basket can also be delivered to your garden. Or you may prefer a light evening snack by the lake – this is also possible upon prior reservation.
  • Dog sitting – since your four‑legged family members cannot accompany you into the salt mine or the Mamut cavern, we offer dog sitting by arrangement and after a compatibility test.
  • Laundry service – washing and drying can be requested from the guest assistants. We charge per load of washing machine or dryer.
